Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi are teaming up for the romantic comedy 'Bhool Chuk Maaf'. The story follows a couple preparing to get married, but they find themselves trapped in a time loop, anxiously waiting for their big day to arrive. In a lighthearted conversation with SCREEN ahead of the film’s release, both actors shared their personal views on marriage. Wamiqa revealed a regular nightmare about her wedding day, while Rajkummar reflected on his own wedding experience with Patralekhaa.

Rajkummar on Marriage

Talking about weddings, Rajkummar mentioned that the saying “Shaadi Ka laddu jo khaye wo pachtaye aur jo na khaye wo bhi pachtaye” comes from someone unhappy in their marriage. He believes that marriage should happen only when one finds the right partner. He advised against rushing into marriage and emphasized the importance of being certain about the choice, cautioning people not to marry under pressure.

Wamiqa’s Ideal Partner

Wamiqa expressed that her ideal partner would be someone who loves animals, prioritizes his health, and embodies kindness and inspiration. She highlighted the importance of feeling inspired by one’s partner to keep the relationship alive. She also mentioned, “if someone brings me food without me even saying, I would instantly fall in love with that person.”

Rajkummar’s Wedding Memories

Rao fondly recalled his wedding as one of the best times of his life, filled with fun and memorable moments. He mentioned that everyone who attended still talks about the celebration. There was a small hiccup when they forgot to arrange a pagdi for him during the pheras, but it was quickly resolved when Farah Ma’am tied it for him. The couple enjoyed partying together during the chilly November winters in Chandigarh.

Wamiqa’s Changing Perspective on Marriage

Wamiqa revealed that only recently has she become comfortable with the concept of marriage. She shared, “This year, I have gotten comfortable with the idea of marriage. All my life, I was never wanting to get married. I don’t know why, but I never had that.” She explained that even during conversations about marriage and children with her previous partners, she found it difficult to engage. However, now that she feels fulfilled in her career and is achieving her personal goals, she can envision herself getting married.
