Strictly Come Dancing has been hit with another bombshell claim, with sources alleging some of the cast have been left "absolutely shocked" over the news of a non monogamous relationship. A source told MailOnline the show is at the heart of throuple speculation, claiming, "there is a 'throuple' taking place behind the scenes, which has angered some Strictly stars."
The insider, who said the three people involved can't be named for legal reasons, had "raised many eyebrows backstage". They added: "It is, like, the best gossip ever. It all came out during a night out, and people were absolutely shocked. These are people who have many friends and many connections to Strictly, and while nobody is actually doing anything wrong in the scenario, you can only imagine how it has become the talk of the show.
"You can't even begin to think what middle-England would make of it while they are watching at home on a Saturday night, so it's best it's never exposed."
Express.co.uk has approached the BBC for comment on the allegations.
The news comes just days after one star was arrested on suspicion of rape. The Strictly star is also reportedly being quizzed by police over allegations involving "non-consensual intimate image abuse".
The BBC confirmed the inquiry is not related to the 2025 series and said there is an "ongoing investigation".

A Metropolitan Police spokesman told The Sun on Sunday: "On Friday, August 22, officers arrested a man on suspicion of rape and non-consensual intimate image abuse.
"This is a joint investigation... and while the investigation is in its early stages, we urge anyone with any information to come forward to us. The arrest follows a third-party allegation of sexual and drug-related offences. Enquiries are ongoing."
Strictly Come Dancing is returning to screens for the 2025 series in September on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
