
An investigation is underway after the deaths of four people in a house fire in Brent. Police were called to help the London Fire Brigade at the blaze in Tillett Close, Stonebridge, at 1.22am on Saturday (May 24), according to Scotland Yard.
A spokesperson for the force said: "Sadly, four people, a 43-year-old woman, and three boys, aged 15, eight and four, died at the scene."
London Fire Brigade (LFB) Assistant Commissioner, Keeley Foster, said: "This is an extremely tragic incident and the thoughts of everyone across the Brigade are with those impacted by this incident."
Scotland Yard said a man, 41, was arrested at the scene in connection with the incident and remains in custody. The cause of the blaze is being investigated by the Met and LFB.
