Beauty enthusiasts have been rushing to Amazon to grab a hair growth set that's currently available with 24% off. The GIFBEA hair growth shampoo and conditioner set has been slashed on the online marketplace to £13.53, down from under £18 - and shoppers have been thoroughly impressed with their results.
The haircare collection currently holds a rating of 4.6 out of five stars on the online retailer's platform, with over 500 customers having assessed the products so far. For those curious about the excitement, the GIFBEA collection features a sulphate-free volumising shampoo and a conditioner that cleanses hair whilst stimulating follicles to encourage growth. Additionally, the set contains a rosemary hair oil serum that strengthens strands and boosts thickness and volume, reports The Mirror.
Alternative highly-rated shampoos include the Hairburst Shampoo for stronger hair, currently priced just under £15 at Boots. One buyer commented on the Hairburst Shampoo: "The main benefit for me is when I detangle my hair afterwards and there aren't as many hairs on the hairbrush afterwards."
Over at LookFantastic is the L'Oreal Elvive Growth Booster, Anti-Fall and Hair Thickening, Full Routine Bundle, reduced from £42.97 to £21.49. It's a powerful trio ideal for those experiencing thinning, breakage and hair fall out.
Returning to Amazon, the GIFBEA shampoo's formula contains biotin, keratin, rosemary oil, argan oil, and coconut oil to deliver a fuller, more flexible look. Meanwhile, the conditioner contains shea butter, rice water, and castor oil to help strengthen the hair shaft, and add hydration and moisture to locks.
The rosemary oil can be applied daily and boasts a lightweight yet powerful formula that's been infused with caffeine to block the effects of DHT in hair follicles which helps to stop hair loss.
One shopper who titled their review 'hair saver' said: "My hair is thinning due to old age. I bought this because I was looking for something gentle and nourishing. They went on to say: "This has certainly done the job, the shampoo is lovely and creamy and lathers up well, the conditioner does its job well, and the rosemary oil leaves your hair feeling soft with a nice shine without looking greasy. I would definitely recommend this to anyone whose hair is thinning."
Meanwhile another beauty fan said: "I have used this product around eight times and hair loss in brush significantly reduced. My hair feels stronger, my scalp is less stressed and lost the tender feeling it had."
They continued: "Feels amazingly clean. No artificial fragrance smell, quite herbal but I like it. Great product. Almost bought the really expensive brand and so glad I didn't as I read reviews and too close to call but this won on price."
Despite this, a further shopper felt the set wasn't for them, writing: "Won't be buying again... very little lather from shampoo, and conditioner was of no use." However, another customer shared: "Gave it a couple of weeks before leaving a review as I usually find most hair products that claim to fix my hair don't really. I have thick hair that gets really dry, falls out a lot with most products and knots up easily."
They added: "This is actually the first thing I've found that works. It smells great, my hair feels way healthier and I can actually get a comb through it without it breaking. My hair hasn't looked or felt this smooth since I was a kid."
Several shoppers also praised the scent of the GIFBEA products, with one remarking: "This stuff smells divine. I just hope it does what it's supposed to. But to be honest I'd buy again just for the fragrance."
