The trailer for a new film featuring Charli XCX has been released.

The star studded cast of 100 Nights of a Hero features Emma Corrin, Nicholas Galitzine, Maika Monroe, Amir El-Masry, Richard E. Grant, and Felicity Jones, with pop star Charli too.
This marks the initial instalment of seven film ventures the pop sensation has lined up after choosing to explore acting alongside her musical pursuits, reports the Express.
Charli turned to Instagram to share her feelings about participating in the production whilst posting the trailer.
The film's plot summary states: "100 Nights of Hero follows the graphic novel's narrative: In a fantasy world, a woman named Cherry is in love with her maid, Hero.
"Her neglectful husband leaves her with a boastful friend, Manfred, who has wagered he can seduce her in 100 nights."
It's summary further reads: "To save Cherry from this fate, Hero begins telling the suitor elaborate, captivating stories, much like Scheherazade, to distract and control him, weaving a web of fantasy that protects her and Cherry's secret love."
Speaking about the project, director Jackman, who secured the rights to the novel before the Pandemic, commented: "I've been in love with Isabel's graphic novel since I read it in 2016, and it's been a dream to adapt it into its own weird cinematic universe.
"I'm excited for people to see what we've done with Manfred, Cherry and Hero - even if you've read the book, you may not know the whole story just yet."
Supporters shared their enthusiasm for the upcoming film beneath Charli xcx's social media post with one writing: "This looks so refreshingly spectacular and different than what we usually get fed ...
"Oh and woman directed it perhaps that has something to do with it."
100 Nights of Hero will make its global debut at the 82nd Venice International Film Festival within the Settimana Internazionale della Critica programme on September 6.
100 Nights of a Hero is set for cinema release on December 5
