Bollywood has a brand-new storyteller stepping into the spotlight — and this time it’s Aryan Khan, son of superstar Shah Rukh Khan. The 26-year-old has made his directorial debut with a Netflix series titled The Bads of Bollywood. The project was unveiled at a grand launch in Mumbai on August 20, where Aryan, visibly nervous yet witty, addressed an audience for the very first time. What followed was a heartfelt introduction to his world behind the camera.

Taking the stage, Aryan Khan admitted his nerves but charmed the crowd with his honesty. He shared that he had prepared thoroughly, even keeping his speech written down on a piece of paper as backup, and joked that if things still went wrong, his father, Shah Rukh Khan was there to step in. At its core, it’s a high-stakes dramedy following Aasmaan Singh (played by Lakshya Lalwani), an ambitious outsider trying to carve a place for himself in Bollywood’s chaotic yet glittering world. Alongside Lakshya, Raghav Juyal plays a pivotal role, while Bobby Deol, Manish Chaudhary, Sahher Bambba, Manoj Pahwa, Gautami Kapoor, Mona Singh, and Rajat Bedi add depth to the drama.
