The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has officially announced when the Class 12 HSC examination results will be released. Students who appeared for the exams earlier this year will be able to access their scores online on the board’s official portals.
The HSC result is scheduled to be declared on Monday, May 5, and will be available in the afternoon, according to information shared by the board. To check their results, students can log in using their roll numbers on any of the following websites:
Colleges will be provided access to consolidated results via the official MSBSHSE website using institutional log-ins.
First May-week release aimed at easing admission timelines
For the first time, HSC results are being declared in the first week of May, a strategic move by the board to ensure students have enough time to apply for higher education courses and competitive entrance exams. This early result declaration follows the decision to begin HSC exams earlier than usual — from February 11 to March 11, 2025 — instead of the customary end-of-February start.
This year, over 15 lakh students registered for the Class 12 exams, which were conducted across nine major divisions: Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, Nagpur, Kolhapur, Amravati, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Konkan, and others.
What students need to know
Once the result is live, students will be able to download their digital marksheets from the official result websites. Original hard copies will be distributed by respective schools in the days following the result announcement.
Given that these scores are crucial for college admissions and further academic planning, students are encouraged to check their results on time and avoid unofficial sources or third-party links.
