According to the recruitment calendar released by the UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB), applications for the UP Police Constable Vacancy 2025 are scheduled to begin in November. It is expected that the UPPRPB may issue a notification for the recruitment at any time. The notification will be made available online on the official website, uppbpb.gov.in.
Applications will be accepted for over 22,000 posts.
According to details shared by the UP Police Department, recruitment will be conducted to fill 22,605 constable positions.
Eligibility and Criteria for Constable Posts
To apply for UP Police Constable positions, candidates must have passed Class 12 from a recognized board.
The minimum age of a candidate must not be less than 18 years, and the maximum age must not exceed 22 years for male candidates and 25 years for female candidates.
Relaxation in the upper age limit will be provided to candidates from reserved categories within the state as per regulations.
Physical Standards
In addition to educational qualifications and age, candidates must also meet physical standards. For constable positions, male candidates from the General, OBC, and SC categories must have a minimum height of 168 cm. Additionally, the candidate's chest must be 79 cm without expansion and 84 cm with expansion. Male candidates from the SC category must have a minimum height of 160 cm with an unexpanded chest of 77 cm without expansion and 82 cm with expansion.
The minimum height for women is 152 cm, while the minimum height for female candidates from the ST category is 147 cm.

To fill out the UP Police Constable Recruitment application form, first visit the website upprpb.in.
Afterward, click on the recruitment link on the home page.
Now, click on One-Time Registration (OTR) and fill in the required details to register.
After registration, candidates must log in and fill in the other details.
Finally, candidates should submit the form by paying the prescribed fee according to their category.
