UP LT Grade Teacher Vacancy 2025: A bumper vacancy has come out for LT grade teachers in UP. Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has currently issued a short notice. A total of 7666 posts will be recruited through this vacancy. Under government schools, 4860 posts will be filled for the male branch and 2525 for the female branch. There are 81 vacancies under the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities. At present, the application process has not started; registration will start from July 28. Applications will start online at uppsc.up.nic.in.

UP LT Grade Teacher Vacancy 2025: Changes in the selection process

The recruitment of LT grade teachers in UP has come after 7 years. Earlier in 2018, recruitment was done for 10768 posts. Then the selection process was completed on the basis of a written examination. This time, changes have been made in the selection process. Now the exam will be done phase-wise, Pre and Mains. The Secondary Education Department had made changes in the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Education (Trained Graduate Category) Service Rules 2024 on March 28. Due to this change, an exemption has been given from the compulsory B.Ed in some subjects.

B.Ed. is not required for this.
This time, B. Ed will not be mandatory in this recruitment for computer subjects in secondary schools. At the same time, last time B.Ed was mandatory for the same subject in the computer subject. Since computer subject is technical, most of the applicants did not have a B.Ed degree.
