Presnel Kimpembe was the only senior player to miss PSG's open training session on Tuesday, with the likes of Ousmane Dembele, Achraf Hakimi and Gianluigi Donnarumma all taking part. But what exactly happened during the session? football.london details four things spotted below.
Dembele focusedPSG's main man, Dembele, had such a huge say on the match in London last week. His clinical finish after just four minutes currently separates the two sides and you wouldn't put it past the Frenchman to have an impact in Paris on Wednesday. The 27-year-old has scored 33 goals in 45 appearances this season after all.
Dembele did come off against Arsenal last week with a slight knock, however, and missed PSG's weekend defeat to Strasbourg. The winger returned to training on Monday, though, and also took part in Tuesday's session. In images taken by the world's press, Dembele looked focused as he made his way out onto the pitches. In other snaps, the Frenchman was seen laughing with his teammates, with the squad clearly in a relaxed mood ahead of the second leg.
Fitness boostLee Kang-in trained with his teammates as normal on Tuesday despite coming off with a knock against Strasbourg on Saturday. The 24-year-old started at the weekend but was forced off at half-time, although it's now likely he will make the matchday squad against the Gunners.
The South Korean has scored six goals and assisted six more in 44 appearances this campaign. He has mostly been used from the bench, although did not come on against Arsenal in the first leg.
Happy HakimiAchraf Hakimi was spotted smiling and joking with other members of the PSG squad during Tuesday's session. On the way out to training pitches, the defender could be seen in conversation with Vitinha and club captain Marquinhos. The right-back continued to be in good spirits as he performed an exercise with Donnarumma and Nuno Mendes before then giving instructions to centre-back Willian Pacho.
The 26-year-old was also spotted passing and receiving the ball as he fended off fellow right-back Yoram Zague. A busy session for the Morocco international.
PSG chiefs watch onAs the players were put through their paces, PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi and the club's football advisor Luis Campos were spotted watching the players in action. At one point Al-Khelaifi put his arm around Campos as the duo shared a joke, demonstrating just how relaxed the atmosphere is in the PSG camp at the moment.
